We were delighted to be part of this year’s Afro Hair and Beauty Show at Islington Design Centre. There was a great atmosphere and we met hundreds of people… and sold lots of books! Our colouring cards were also a great success with passing children. See a few of them hard at work…   Verna was kept busy signing copies of Abdi's day and A visit to City Farm. First News, the newspaper for children, has featured a write up of the launch of A visit to City Farm. The article is written by Nuradi, one of the Chalkhill Primary School pupils who worked with us to make the book. Verna Wilkins, the author, Karin Littlewood the illustrator and Simona Sideri the editor worked with pupils at Chalkhill Primary School to make this picture book.
